It was a busy week (9-13th May) with the expansion of Lost Chord in South Wales. For the last few years, every month, 6 homes were receiving a regular Lost Chord concert and this week, Jo Thomas (mezzo soprano) and I had the pleasure of meeting and playing for the additional 8 homes to join the scheme. read more…

Valentine’s Day was interesting this year, spending the evening with 20 male singers..in the form of Only Men Aloud! in the Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay for a corporate event. The venue is beautiful and the evning was a nice change from the usual romantic restaurant setting.

A busy weekend with a wedding up North, followed by a performance at Celtic Manor and a jazz afternoon in the North Star. This week is graduation week in Cardiff and I had the pleasure of playing the harp for Stephen Fry who was receiving an honorary degree and speaking at the ceremony. I didn’t manage to invite him for dinner though!…..

Over the past few months I have been honoured to be working with jazz harp legend Deborah Henson Conant. I went to see her in Cardiff when I was about 1o. She made the harp ‘cool’!!!so to be asked to perform her music at the recent Harp Festival in Caernarfon was a dream come true. read more…
