The new album is finished on the page and now rehearsals start. 10 tracks and a whole host of possibilities. John Reynolds on drums, Aidan Thorne on bass and Chip Wickham will guest on alto flute. We hit the studio in September and I can’t wait to start recording.
As well as the album, a new book for advanced jazz harpists is nearly finished. It will be available on pdf and watch out for various harpists playing videos of the pieces on social media. Including Alis Huws, the new Royal Harpist for the Prince of Wales. Following in the footsteps of Catrin Finch, Anne Denholm and Claire Jones. Well done Alis, so proud of your well deserved appointment.
