It’s my favourite time of the year. My favourite music and a cwtchy (welsh for warm and welcoming..but indescribable really) warmth wherever you go.

Ive been writing new music for the up and coming series of Pedalslider books that Tony and I are working on. There will be lots of new material for all levels and we are trying to inspire people to swing and have lots of fun behind the harp.

Last week I was on tour in Cardiff with Joanne Thomas. We played for 16 homes around Cardiff with Lost Chord. (A music charity with whom we have been lucky enough to work for over the last 18 years). It was fantastic. Lovely people and a great response, singing all varieties of music from shows to Christmas.

I was also lucky enough to see world famous harpist Xavier de Maistre perform in Cardiff Museum. Such a talent and such rare opportunity to see him in Wales.

December is very popular for Christmas weddings too. I have been to Le Manoir to play for some beautiful events. The venue is stunning at Christmas and even more so with the addition of lovely brides. I will be playing there on the 30 December as part of their Christmas celebrations.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas…listen to lots of music and enjoy every minute:)
