It has been a busy few days of harping in various guises. From a Classical charity concert in Whitchurch on Friday in aid of Velindre hospital to The Camac weekend in Cardiff where I was teaching 4 workshops and giving the Saturday night concert with my trio and Gwenllian Llyr. After a great weekend (and huge thanks to Elin Vining for an amazing weekend)I had the honour of working with Mano Panforreteiro, a  Galican bagpiper and composer. He has written the soundtrack for a production by Elefante Elegante in Galicea and had asked me to record the harp parts. It was a great day and we managed to record 7 tracks of fantastically scored music.

On Wednesday evening I played for the opening of Epicure at Celtic Manor with Michelin star chef Richard Davies. The newly refurbished restaurant looked beautiful and the food smelt just as good!!

The evening was attended by press and food writers and the event went off with a bang. Good luck to Richard at Celtic.

This weekend will be a wedding in Brecon and teaching in Newbury for the Clarsarch Society. Lets hope they enjoy some lever slides and making it swing! The afternoon will include lessons on improvising, playing the blues and arranging for harp. Im looking forward to seeing what the harpists come up with:)
