Lost chord in Yorkshire

Lost Chord is an amazing charity which takes live music to homes in the Yorkshire area. It has now moved down to Cardiff and London but we still pop up to Sheffield for tours. This time I was with Jo Thomas and we performed 12 concerts over 4 days to the most amazing people. We had some great responses with people who haven’t spoken in years, miming along, and even managing to get up and dance! Just a brilliant charity!

National Police Memorial Day

It was an honour to be invited to play on the 26/9/09 for the National Police Memorial Day in the City Hall, Cardiff. Hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects to officers who had died in the line of duty. A very moving occasion.

Ashes

With The Ashes in Cardiff this week it was an honour to be asked to play for the media party in Cardiff Castle. A little touch of Welshness for the Aussies…

Fairytale Footballer’s wedding

It was a beautiful sunny day last Saturday (June 09)and the setting was Eastnor Castle, Ledbury. I was booked to play for the wedding of Daniel Gabbidon- Welsh footballer currently playing for West Ham. The venue was stunning and the day was magical, topped off with the after dinner speaker being a surprise..no less than Jimmy Carr!

Coldplay wedding

It was hugely exciting to play for Phil Harvey’s wedding at Hedsor House, Taplow on the 8th May. Phil, being the manager of Coldplay, had Chris Martin as his best man and the band were there dressed in their finest. Hedsor House is an amazing venue where they filmed the Golden Compass. It was a great start to the wedding season!
