Last week was a  great week with a tour of residential homes, playing to the elderly with dementia, on behalf of Lost Chord. It is such an honour to share beautiful Christmas songs with smiling faces. This week continues to be fun filled with a performance of Britten’s Ceremony of Carols in Barry Church with […]

I have just returned from a fantastic trip to South America, visiting Machu Picchu, Buenos Aires and Rio. Three weeks of no playing, just listening and a new found love for bossa and tango.  Wedding season is just about to get in to full swing and I have some great concerts lined up. …A few […]

It’s the end of another term in my world of Jazz and after exams and lots of playing, I am getting ready for some beautiful weddings. The last few weeks have been quite chaotic but really enjoyable, from playing at a University welsh cake afternoon, to watching a fantastic harp concert with Hannah Stone to […]

Already we are in February and the time is flying by. Since starting back at college with a new term of great music, I have been fortunate to play at lots of great gigs. Last week at Lower Slaughter Manor I accompanied Pippa (from Britain’s got Talent…usually known to sing with her dog, but this […]

It has been such a lovely week, playing Christmas Carols at Celtic on Christmas Eve, joined by some gorgeous children. The favourite wasn’t Rudolph or Jingle Bells, but George Michael! It must be the X-factor! Christmas Day was spent playing all day and coming home to a lovely meal. Boxing day was the icing on […]

Written on Sunday, December 18th, 2011 at 12:26 pm

Last night I had the pleasure of playing for Iceland’s owner at his stunning home in Chester. It was a beautiful, intimate setting topped off with the face of Iceland herself, Stacey Soloman, singing her charity single “Driving home for Christmas”……perfect for the way home.
