Wedding season in full swing…

On Sunday I had the pleasure of playing for John and Janine Sawh at Le Manoir in Oxford. The hotel, famous for Chef Raymond Blanc and his recent TV series, is absolutely beautiful! Lost chord expands

It was a busy week (9-13th May) with the expansion of Lost Chord in South Wales. Velindre Hospital Charity evening

On Friday 25th March, Lewis Ballards Accountants held a fantastic fundraising evening for the second year running in the Marriott Hotel Cardiff. Flying the banner for Wales at John Lewis London

On March 1st I was invited to represent Wales in London. A group of us Welshies travelled to John Lewis, Oxford Street and spent the day spreading the word of St David’s Day. The Welsh Assembly ‘True Taste’,organised by the lovely David Edwards promoted Welsh food products and I played for the lucky people sampling them. read more…

Coal Exchange with Only Men Aloud

Valentine’s Day was interesting this year, spending the evening with 20 male singers..in the form of Only Men Aloud!  in the Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay for a corporate event. The venue is beautiful and the evning was a nice change from the usual romantic restaurant setting.

Pedal slides for composition students

Today I had the pleasure of talking to post graduate music students in Cardiff University….from gliss’ to pedal slides…they had plenty of ideas for making their compositions unique and modern…here’s to the finished pieces!
